1. Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
Both, and it is worth being precise about it. Hebei Haozhong Trading Co., Ltd. is the product and export team; the manufacturing runs through a small set of core factories we have partnered with for more than five years. You get factory-level pricing plus a team that speaks your language, owns the QC checklist and answers for the result. We are not a marketplace reselling whatever we happen to find that week.
2. When was the company founded, and when did you start pickleball?
The company was founded in 2016 and spent its first years in sporting-goods manufacturing and export. Pickleball started in 2023 - and it has been the entire business since: every product line, every hire, every partner factory. We would rather state that clearly than let you find out later.
3. What makes Hebei Haozhong different from other pickleball suppliers?
One supplier for the whole court. Paddles, balls, nets, bags, footwear, apparel, eyewear, grips, scoreboards and court flooring - 12 product lines behind one contact person, one MOQ, one lead time and one quality standard. Instead of five suppliers, five quotations, five lead times and five quality arguments, you get one conversation and one shipping plan.
4. Who do you supply, and do you work with small businesses?
Brands, distributors, wholesalers, clubs, schools, coaches, court builders and event organisers in 30+ markets. Small first orders are welcome - most of our partnerships started with a trial order. What matters to us is not the size of your first order but whether the product fits your market
5. Can we visit your factory, or arrange third-party inspection?
Yes. You are welcome to visit our office in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and the partner factory running your order. If travelling is not practical, we can arrange a live video walkthrough of the production line. We also accept third-party inspection before shipment - SGS, BV, TUV, Intertek or your own QC team.
6. How many product lines do you cover?
12: adult paddles, kids paddles, pickleballs, nets and net systems, bags, footwear, apparel, eyewear, grips and overgrips, scoreboards and court accessories, court markings, and court flooring. Every line has a stock option and an OEM version, so you can start with what sells and add the rest when your market asks for it
7. Which ball should I stock: 26, 40 or 48 holes?
It depends on where your customers play. 40-hole rotationally moulded balls are the outdoor standard and the safest first order; 26-hole balls are built for indoor gym floors; 48-hole balls are for tournament play and windy outdoor conditions. Many of our distributors stock 40-hole for volume and add one indoor option. Tell us your market and we will recommend a starting mix instead of guessing.
8. Do your balls and paddles carry USA Pickleball (USAPA) approval?
We supply USAPA-standard balls, and USA Pickleball approved models are available on selected paddles and balls. Because approval is granted per model and per material construction, the honest answer is: tell us the model you are considering and we will confirm its approval status in writing before you order. We will never let you put an approval claim on packaging it does not carry.
9. Can you supply products that are not listed on your website?
In most cases, yes. The website shows the lines we run most often, not the limit of what we can source. Send a specification, a reference sample or a link to the product you are trying to replace, and we will tell you honestly within a few working days whether we can make it, at what MOQ and at what cost. If we cannot, we will say so.
10. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
It depends on the product and on what is printed on it. Adult paddles start from 50 pcs without custom printing; balls are normally quoted by the carton; custom-printed items depend on the printing method and the number of colours. Tell us the product, the quantity you have in mind and your market, and we will come back with the real MOQ - not a policy line.
11. What is included in your quotation, and which incoterms do you use?
Quotations are usually FOB China port, and the sheet itemises product cost, printing, packaging, inland transport and port charges line by line, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. FOB covers the goods and getting them onto the vessel - international freight and insurance are separate. We also quote CIF and DDP if you would rather have one landed price, and EXW if you have your own forwarder.
12. Can I place a small trial order first?
Yes, and we recommend it. A trial order of one or two cartons per SKU answers the questions no catalogue can: how the product actually looks, how the packaging survives the trip, how accurate our lead time is. Most long-term customers started this way, and the trial price is the same bracket you would pay at volume - there is no penalty for starting small.
